“Great Hotel for Exploring Milan!”

Great hotel for exploring Milan and a good base for doing day trips to como, garda, genoa… very close to the metro station.. friendly staff & room cleaned every day! Breakfast was also great every morning.. good selection… would stay here again without hesitation Thank You!

Friendly staff, nice clean and relatively big hotel rooms with exterior electric blinds to make the room completely dark if needed. Friendly staff, nice clean and relatively big hotel rooms with exterior electric blinds to make the room completely dark if needed. Ok bathroom and yet I have to emphasize the big showerhead which was very nice. Nice breakfest which had what was needed but they could add another coffeemachine to avoid people waiting for the morning coffee. The hotel is a bit outside of the center of Milan but the public transport is very good so you can travel anywhere within the inner city in under 20-25 min.

“Good room, bad nails”

Spacious and bright room with balcony. Location is a bit not ideal, but there are trains. Breakfast is ok. Reception staff wearing long fake nails are at least nice, not to mention that the manager wears the same long fake nails.

We chose this hotel mainly for the price but also because of the location. We quite like the neighborhoods around Corso Sempione as there are some good restaurants and cafés nearby and you can walk to Citylife in 15 minutes. The tram stop (trams 1 and 19) is almost in front of the hotel and the Domodossola station (metro and train) is just a 10 minute walk away. We used the S4 train leaving from that station to go to Bovisa where you can change to Malpensa Express. Apparently the hotel is under renovation and some of the rooms have already been renovated, which is something we realized from looking at the hotel website. However our room was old and dated. The ventilation grille had a lot of dust in it and you had to use a lot of force to close front door. There was a balcony and I'm sure the safety of it has been tested but we did not feel very comfortable going there. Furniture, bathroom, floor - very old and worn out. The bed was excellent although the mattress could be too hard for some. The feature we were most happy about was obviously the air conditioning because during our stay the temperatures in Milan rose to +35 degrees Celsius. We had payed for a bed and breakfast package and the breakfast was actually quite ok and plentiful for a hotel of this price level. All the members of the staff we talked to were friendly and polite. At the moment Hotel Nasco claims to be a 4 star hotel. Based on our two nights here I would rate it as a 3 star hotel at most but I'm sure the renovations will change this.
