We arrived late but the restaurant was kept open to serve us an excellent meal. Helpful staff on reception, in the restaurant. Easy, quick check in after the meal. Collected room key and boot room card immediately. The hotel itself was lovely. The reception area, lounge, and bar were beautifully decorated, cozy, and inviting. The staff in the restaurant, bar, spa, reception etc were polite, professional and friendly. Most speak a little English and were only too willing to help. Food was plentiful and good variety. Pasta dishes, buffet salads and freshly cooked mains meals daily. Mains were exceptional with different meats each night, steak, pork, veal etc. and a selection of 12 different fresh vegetables. Lets not forget the selection of desserts (10 -15 different ones). The breakfast is a great balance of variety between a cooked breakfast, (sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, beans, mushrooms and hash browns) and lots of pastries, cereals and fruit. The ski and boot locker room were downstairs just outside the front door. They’re very good and better than some we have been to. Lockers hold two sets of skis, poles, boots and helmets with warm air blowers. Access to and from the slopes was straight forward, across the road and up a small slope. You can ski back down if there is enough snow. There is also a complimentary shuttle bus service to the lifts or up the town. Our rooms were warm, spacious and comfortable and we had a balcony with gorgeous views over the mountains for sunrise and sunset. Rooms had a spa bath which we used when the spa was fully booked. Our room was meticulously cleaned daily. Even if you made your bed, it was remade properly and pajamas folded neatly. We used the spa facilities most days for which we hired the dressing gown at 12 euros each for the week. We did need to pre-book our entry time at reception in the morning and a couple of times we were unable to get in, so tip is to book early in the day. The sauna, steam room, pool and jacuzzi were great after a long day’s skiing. (Jacuzzi was warm by the way) The hotel bar was spacious and comfortable with big screens. Nice to come back to after skiing for a pint and nibbles.

Lovely hotel. Great position - cross the road and put on your skis. Heated locker in room under the hotel with ski hire right there. Easy check in. Lovely hotel. Great position - cross the road and put on your skis. Heated locker in room under the hotel with ski hire right there. Easy check in. Helpful staff on reception, in the restaurant & the cleaner. Big room with spa bath. Evening meal was fresh, plentiful, tasty and couldn’t be faulted. Only thing to improve would be to have free water on the tables in the evening. Bit of a walk to Sestriere, but the hotel offers a free shuttle car. Stayed at half term and we’d go back.

This is a great resort hotel, it caters for package holidays for skiers/snowboarders when we went and as such is really well set up for that. We are both very well travelled around the world and this hotel does exactly what is needed of it for skiers trippers. It is situated ideally at the edge of town in a lovely prominent position with fantastic unspoilt view of the mountains. Our room had a balcony with a beautiful view, it was kept well stocked and clean by the cleaners. The food is a great balance of local Pasta dishes, buffet salads and freshly cooked mains type meals daily. The breakfast is a great balance of variety between a cooked breakfast, pastries, cereals and fruit. The staff were all honestly excellent, most tried to speak a little English and were only too willing to help. Some of our fellow guests were not as willing to try to explain what they needed and reluctant to try to engage in Italian, at times it felt a little embarrassing when we overheard one guest shouting ‘butter!’ louder and louder at a bemused server, google translate is really very helpful to ask for what you need, ignorance is not a great look when abroad. The ski and boot locker room was adequate and better than some we have seen. Access to and from the slopes was straight forward and there is also a complimentary shuttle bus service. We stayed for two great weeks and we will definitely come back to this hotel for future winter trips,

“Wonderful hotel”

Excellent value. Food plentiful and good variety. Cozy atmosphere. Brilliant views. Easy access to the piste and chair lift. Lovely friendly staff. Comfortable room. If I could lift this hotel to another resort every year I would stay here all the time. Read between the lines... many many people stay here and have a fantastic time tell their friends but don't leave reviews. Shout out i had a brilliant holiday!
