“Highly recommended”

We only stayed one night at the hotel but they were very welcoming and even offered us an upgrade. Everything was clean and breakfast was as expected. The neighbors is really quiet and pleasant. They took good care of us, highly recommended!

The hotel is a short walk from the main high speed railway station. The hotel has the appearance of a small villa with a grand staircase. Our room was on the top floor of the hotel at the back but overlooked a small garden and was very quite. The room was clean along with a clean ensuite that was well equipped. Hotel staff were very helpful and the breakfast was served in an incredibly ornate dining room with a large chandelier. Full service was provided at breakfast by a smartly uniformed gentlemen who was very helpful. The staff were very helpful and very pleasant. It is sited on the edge of Turin within easy walking distance of the old town and the river. Worth a visit to walk along the banks and note the 'Itillian Job' weir where the Minis drove along through the water.

“Great location ten minutes from the centre.”

The hotel is ten minutes walk away from the Porta Suza railway station and about the same to the Via Garibaldi. The hotel is spacious inside and decorated and furnished in nineteenth century style. Our room (superior double) was large with tall ceilings, very comfortable bed, fridge, large modern bathroom and spotlessly clean. Although we were at the front of the building we didn’t find the Via Principe noisy. The reception staff are so friendly and helpful and this always makes a big difference to any stay. Vito was especially helpful and informative and the gentleman who was on night reception and in the breakfast room was charm itself. Breakfasts are unfussy and adequate with excellent coffee. Apart from a quibble about no tea/coffee facility in the room this hotel very much deserves recommendation.

“Not exceptional but ok for short stay”

The hotel is not fantastic, simple, a bit old school but really near to train station and city center. The rooms should be more modern (with with duvets and not blankets for example). The rooms were not super clean, but fine to stay one or two nights. Also, we had asked for a complementary night… more

The hotel is not fantastic, simple, a bit old school but really near to train station and city center. The rooms should be more modern (with with duvets and not blankets for example). The rooms were not super clean, but fine to stay one or two nights. Also, we had asked for a complementary night on booking by messages (as all the rooms « standard » were taken it was not possible to reserve directly on booking) and they juste forgot us…so for the first night we had a very room for one person, and sleep in couple in a single bed… Finally, the old lady at the reception should be more sympatic with people that doesn’t speak Italian like her ;) for example the old man responsible of the breakfast is really kind, sympatic and attentive.
