“Cheap and Cheerfull & CLEAN ! :)”

We was so scared about staying here . No reviews since 2022 it’s now 2024! It was cheap & cheerful . Paid £35 for 1 night . It was really clean , bed was comfy , hall and public areas clean. Rooms don’t have a balcony but we had a coffee from the bar and sat on the shared balcony in the morning . You could walk from airport if you wanted we paid €12 in a taxi . We met someone that walked it took them 13 minutes. We arrived at 10pm was abit confused getting in but hadnt seen the message through booking.com otherwise we would have had the code . Our key was just ready and waiting on the desk and the next morning we gave our passports and paid the city tax of €2.50 x 2 . I felt safe . It was quiet . We stayed in March so obviously can’t compare to other months. 7 minute walk to train station. About 15 minutes to the tower . We had room 109 which stated “private bathroom” the toilet and shower was down the hall which we found hilarious but it was so clean . The shower was falling off the wall though and a towel in toilet to avoid slippy floor would have helped but it was what it was ! No complaints as we are very wary going people . Couple late 20s . Hope this helps someone cus I wish I’d had a review like this to give me some confidence :) Also we was allowed to leave our bags after checkout , they wasn’t locked up b it took personal belongings with us . Enjoy !

“Decent hotel”

I was a bit weary of booking here because of some of the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The hotels reception is lovely and modern and our room was decent and clean. I was a bit weary of booking here because of some of the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The hotels reception is lovely and modern and our room was decent and clean. We were given a room with an en-suite which was also a pleasant surprise as that isn’t what I had booked. Before we arrived I had received a text with the door code in the event of us arriving after the check in period. You aren’t paying a lot of money to stay here so don’t be expecting 5 star quality but the room was comfortable and clean, the hotel was quiet and the lady on reception was friendly. This is definitely a good place for a few nights. It is in the perfect location- close to the train and the Tower.

“Good value”

Good value, clean, ac worked, about 20 min from train station and about 20 to The Tower. The room we got was tiny please dont expect american style room, relax, different country. the shower stall had a very narrow door, if all are the same a husky person will have to take sponge bath in the room... more

“Booked due to desperation. ”

We had a room booked at another hotel but it was too far away. We'd already paid there so we needed something that wouldn't break the bank. We found this hotel online and booked it. Upon arrival we were pleased with the reception and the fact he let us check in despite it being around 10 in the morning. There was a cafe/bar in reception and it looked great. We went to our room, for 3 people with a private bathroom. We walked in to find bunk beds and a double bed. Not an issue as our daughter was happy enough. We tried to switch the air conditioning on to cold but nothing happened. The only way to get it blowing was to put it on heat then turn it to the coldest. This blew out tepid air. It was cooler opening the window, opening our room door and then opening the balcony doors at the end of the corridor. The view out of the window was a back street, which you wouldn't call charming. The bathroom was tiny and the shower even smaller. Due to where it was positioned the sliding doors opened at the corner. If I was any bigger at all I would not have been able to get in. It's a very tight fit. Washing is even harder. We stayed for 4 days and at no point could I use the cafe or the bar. This was down to the fact there was no one on reception. The rooms were cleaned every morning and the first morning I saw the maid, I didn't realise who she was. She came downstairs, whilst I sat waiting for someone to appear but she wasn't dressed like a maid or staff even. She then disappeared back upstairs to clean rooms. Quite literally there was no receptionist or anyone to serve drinks. After 11am there was no staff whatsoever. The plus points are that it's a great location. 3 minute walk from Central train station. 20 minutes from Leaning Tower and about 2 minutes from closest restaurants and bars. Its clean. Its cheap. Its definitely a budget hotel, and after having stayed here, I don't think I would stay here again.
