Very conveniently located, high courtesy of the staff, comfortable room, very clean, both room and public areas, excellent breakfast with very high quality food. Good the restaurant for dinner with limited choices.

We were here last August 2022 and May 2023. Highly recommended. Book directly through their website to get a better discount. Breakfast + Dining Staff + Reception and the room. I can not find any fault at this hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating. It is 15 minutes away from Pisa Centrale. However, this is a bus service near the hotel. Buy your tickets first in advance from the shop La Vechia around the corner of San Biagio. Also, the last bus service is around 22:30pm. So be aware it. I do not understand as to why people complain re the location, room, the decor and staff. For the last two occasions I had been here, I never had any problems with the staff and overall with the hotel. Please look at the high statistics of positive review versus the only few of negative reviews. I will surely come back to this hotel again

We stayed here for one night on two separate occasions recently (158E B&B each time). The last time we were in Pisa we stayed at the miserable NH hotel, arrived late and ended up getting a pizza take-away for our evening meal. Although the NH would have been much more convenient for us on our first night in Pisa since we were catching a train the following morning, we were pleased that we followed advice on the TA forum and selected this hotel. PROS Efficient and friendly check-in on our first night. A decent, quiet room on the upper floor on our first night. A remarkably good restaurant for this kind of hotel. Staff have pride in what they do and offer good, friendly service. A decent garden area for al-fresco dining. Superb selection of foods in the breakfast buffet, including good quality coffee (illy). Useful relaxation areas (partly covered). Taxis arrive quickly when ordered by hotel staff. CONS Front desk staff will sometimes let you wait, e.g. we listened to one on the telephone for a few minutes whilst waiting to check-in for our second night's stay. Beds are quite hard and the pillows seem to be memory foam pillows. Be careful when ordering fish or meat when priced by weight. (My sea bass was 40E on its own and I struggled with some dangerous pieces of bone after it was filleted at the table.) The corridors are sound 'resonators' and room doors are difficult to close without creating a noise. Everything considered, including value for money, this is a decent hotel and probably about the best that Pisa has to offer.

Pros: The room was decent, with a large comfortable bed. The interior was modern and clean. Some of the staff were helpful-the people who checked me in were lovely. It isn't that far from the airport -a taxi costs about 20-25 euros. It cost about 15 euros from the train station to the hotel. The restaurant is nice -there is an outdoor terrace and the food is reasonable, if limited, particularly as a vegetarian. The restaurant staff were formal rather than friendly, but if that is something you prefer, or if you are travelling as a couple/with friends, it shouldn't be an issue. As a single person travelling for business, I personally prefer something a bit more relaxed. The hotel offers free wi-fi, accessible to all guests. Cons: There was a wedding booked for the same night as I stayed, which meant that it was difficult to get a decent nights sleep, despite having an early flight, as you could hear the singer/ entertainment/drunken singing, clearly from my room. No offer was made to relocate me to another room, despite me raising it as an issue. This is something to bear in mind if you have an early flight. Not all the staff were particularly professional, with a woman on reception being impatient and rude to me in front of other guests when I didn't immediately understand the correct procedure for doing something, having never stayed there before. It's a fair distance from the centre/leaning tower, etc., so that is something to consider if sightseeing is your thing and you don't want to pay for taxis everywhere. Overall, I wouldn't stay again. I travel quite a lot and appreciate that hotels have varied pressures and that it isn't always easy to cater to everyone's requirements. However, there are plenty of other hotels available in the area which are just as comfortable but friendlier/more relaxed. On another night, with a different person on reception, I might have gained a very different perspective of the place, as it has clearly achieved some very positive reviews. However, based on my experience, I can't recommend it.
