“The place to stay if youre visiting this area incl Mottola & Taranto”
Wonderful staff. Marco who manages the cafe is welcoming, warm and uplifting even inundated with demands of the day. He knows and will tell you about the area and its history, in English. “High standard, great value”
This was a "pit stop" to break a long south to north journey, but Hotel Cecere deserves to be seen as a worth a detour. Other than Matera, a UNESCO World Heritage site,about 40km away, there are few obvious tourist attractions in the immediate neighbourhood, and we would guess most of the clientele… more

“Friendly and Clean”
Spent two nights touring the area. The staff was friendly, the rooms clean and the meals good. Breakfast was included and was excellent. In addition to typical Italian coffee they had Cafe Americano which was like I drink in America. I'd stay here again.
