Great apartment for a family of four. Big balcony and 2 seperate rooms with sofa bed in one. Apartments are out of main areas of Rome but train station right next door which makes it easy to get to attractions. Restaurant next door amazing if you don’t want to walk far on an evening. Swimming pool in Rome was very well received after a hot day sight seeing. You need to book the day before and you only get 2 hours. Swimming pool towels are 5 Euros to hire which is a bit pricey for 2 hours. Luckily we had our own. Overall great place, only thing that bought it down for us was the rude lady on reception (didn’t get her name) Made us feel we were putting her out and spoke to us very rudely along with other guests. Other lady and gentleman on Reception very cheerful and helpful.

The train is ok but takes a while; we never used the bus. no bar or restaurant here but there are so many other options within walking or taxi distance. The rooms are ok ours came with everything you need from fridge to kettles ect. the beds are clean and comfortable and the room a good size. for 4 people the wife and i slept on the fold-out; the boys in two singles.. showers ok; lots of hot and cold water, though our shower was blocked a little the water drains just slowly. The air con is so so but the rooms are cool enough to sleep in at night. with plenty of pillows and blankets. Expect to make up the bed your first night. if you need clean towels, you have to ask and pay. the staff we interacted with were all pleasant enough, we had no issues with them and some even smiled and waved at us, you just need to make the effort to break the ice with some of them. some small shops near by if you want to stock the fridge, we went next door for food anice restaurant and great local menu... when we had a long day we found local places in trestevera (spelling) some thing everybody should do. Overall, this is an ok hotel, i used some Sofitel points to book and while it is under the Sofitel brand keep your expectations real and you will enjoy your time in rome. i booked here for the pool. and rome and because my wife does not eat cooked food and wanted asmall kitchen and it fitted all those needs. your in Rome for rome.....

Staff were friendly. It’s an hour walk from the centre which is not doable in the summer heat so mostly relied on uber/taxis so the price you pay you are better of paying more to stay in the centre . Staff were friendly. It’s an hour walk from the centre which is not doable in the summer heat so mostly relied on uber/taxis so the price you pay you are better of paying more to stay in the centre . The sealant around the balcony is coming away which let a lot of ants in . The air conditioning is quite poor and did not allow the whole room to be cooled which was quite uncomfortable. The lifts are really small so if you’re bringing a lot of luggage a bit of a hassle. Also have to book time slots with the lifeguard to use the pool which is inconvenient

The location is quite good and the facilities acceptable. Good the access to the gym next-door owned by Virgin for a 25 Euro fee. Forget about the breakfast, which is below average and the service is terrible. The staff is mostly incompetent and arrogant, especially this German lady who's "capo servizio". Stefano is the only one with some knowledge and kind enough to help you. The garage is in terrible conditions with pools of water and water dripping from the ceiling. There are many hotels in Rome, move on.
