“Wonderful hotel in the heart of Rome”

The location is central to most monuments and churches, so easy to get around. Great restaurants within a block or 2. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The location is central to most monuments and churches, so easy to get around. Great restaurants within a block or 2. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The hotel has a calm about it and was so nice to come back to each day. It was relatively quiet in this neighborhood. The front desk always had someone very helpful to ask questions to. They were so kind and always had recommendations when asked. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious. It's right next door to a very beautiful church. Highly recommend this hotel.

Sentho is a brand-new 4-star boutique hotel in the heart of Rome, in a nice neighborhood, within walking distance of many places. I stayed a total of 5 nights for an unforceable reason before heading to Tuscany. Finally arrived in Rome after a 4-hour delay due to the plane not being able to land; landed in Corsica to refuel, and then back in the air to Rome. I arrived at the hotel. The weather was extremely hot outside and inside the bedroom. I've tried to adjust the thermostat, but it's not working, so I called reception for help, and I was told there is no air conditioning. I was shocked that I paid over $550.00 a night, and it was the first time I had heard of a hotel with no air conditioning.On my second night, it was the same, and I complained that the room was too hot.The receptionist said she could give me a fan to comfort me, but it was not offered to me on the first night. I thought it was very strange. I couldn't move to another hotel because they already charged 30 days before my arrival. I also prepay the breakfast for 2, and since my friend’s flight from Australia was canceled several times because of the war, I asked the reception a week before arrival if I could get a credit for the unused breakfast, which I confirmed the reason about the situation.The response was its not possible because it's their policy. I’ve decided to leave my other suitcase behind because we are returning on the same hotel for 1 night before heading to Paris. The 3rd surprise was the hotel will charge me 13.00 euros per suitcase to keep. I’ve traveled enough and stayed in 4 5 star boutique hotel to know, whether 2 star, air conditioning exist and can leave your suitcase with no extra cost. The customer service was so poor and ridiculous.
