We arrived to a smile from the lovely welcoming receptionist, got to put our motorbikes in a secure parking which was important to us. All hotel staff were good apart from 1 man who seemed to be angry and not enjoying his days work. Garden was lovely, pool was nice although didn’t go in it. Room was comfy but we opened the window and it was on the road… would have been nice to be not so loud outside but for 1 night was ok. Food service and food general was amazing both evening meal and breakfast was your basic buffet style. Good for a weekend or 1 night stay we had on our motorbike tour. Rooms were comfy and bathroom was lovely with coffee machines which made up for busy road outside the window.

Stayed one night in the Magnalener hof 2 nights ago. I had a very pleasant stay. The staff at the reception were very kind, immediately made a booking for us at the restaurant although it looked quite full. We had a great meal in the open air in the terrace. I can highly recommend eating at the restaurant as the food was from high quality. The accompanying wines were very reasonably priced, starting at €6 a glass. Two points of improvement I would have for the management is the bedding and the shower. The beds are very hard and, as I have a (very) soft bed at home, I found them really uncomfortable. Luckily there were 2 spare blankets that I used to lay on making it a bit softer. The bathroom is very nicely appointed and stocked with nice amenities which is pleasant. One (very) risky ordeal however is the shower itself. The floor gets really slippery and I almost skid and fell on the floor. I was lucky to be near to the towel rail so I could grab hold to that.. I bet the management can surely do better, maybe a mat on the floor in the shower? I’ve seen it before. Having said all this, nevertheless a 4 out of 5 rating!

No, I normally only give five stars for exceptional hotels or restaurants.itvis very good at first we were slightly disappointed thinking we were going to be in the mountains. Bozano is definitely a city and the first exit you will feel like you're in an urban area. We booked a garden view room. Lovely and comfortable. . We really enjoyed the balcony. The hotel staff and Jacob (front desk And everywhere )are very accommodating. Very good breakfast. Normally we don't like to eat in hotels as the food is just adequate. Because of the breakfast and the service, we did eat in the restaurant our last night. I would make a reservation as it is very popular locally. It was delicious. They have parking at a underground garage. It's about a 20 to 30 minute walk to Bolzano. You can take the number 8 bus which is relatively easy. They only issue is later at night. You will need to Uber back. We did like the fact that it was not located right in town. It gives you some breathing room.
