This is an outstanding hotel in the beautiful small town of Covara. We spent a week here while attending Winter Olympics events in Cortina. The hotel itself is modern, clean and offers many amenities. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with a wide variety of foods, breads and beverages. One of the best I have ever experienced actually. The front desk staff was super helpful and friendly and aided us with advice on local dining, skiing and logistics. There is a sizable on-site bar as well as an on-site restaurant. The room was comfortable and clean and offered lovely views of the mountains from our balcony. It is well located in Covara and we could walk to a number of shops and restaurants within minutes of the hotel. I was able to rent ski gear right next door, and hope on ski lifts within minutes of the hotel on the day I skied. Super quite as well. This is clearly an above average hotel and with that comes some extra cost. However my wife and I feel that we received excellent service and good value for our week long stay and cost. 5-stars. Highly recommend this hotel in Covara.

“Lovely stay at the Hotel Marmolada”

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Marmolada very much. We were very well looked after by the restaurant staff (thanks Francesca and team), and the front desk were equally professional. The rooms were lovely; very clean and well prepared. Excellent skiing as well. Thanks

“Beste Hotel in Corvara”

Perfect Hotel in the center of Corvara. Very friendly and helping staff . It feels like to be part of a family. The rooms are very nice and very clean and the wine bar is a great place to stay for a drink or listen to live entertainment music. After 8 years for us the best place to stay

Highly recommend the Hotel Marmolada. It is close to lifts (less than 5 minute walk to Col Alt and less than 10 minute walk to Boe and Borest) and very central for restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy (within 1 minute walk). Highly recommend the Hotel Marmolada. It is close to lifts (less than 5 minute walk to Col Alt and less than 10 minute walk to Boe and Borest) and very central for restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy (within 1 minute walk). The staff are excellent, always welcoming you as you walk in, happily making restaurant reservations, offering support with transfers etc. Sonia, the owner is very warm and welcoming and always checked in to make sure everything was okay. The extension to the hotel (done in the last 5 years) is excellent and includes the most luxurious arrays of wellness facilities (sauna, steam room, calidarium, water beds, whirlpool spa (outside with view of the mountains)) and access is included in room price. The range of food for breakfast is extensive and of high quality. The meals (dinner twice) were very nice as well. Our room was Daonella Junior Suite which we booked for our family of five (two teenage daughters and 11 year old son). The main bedroom was a good size, and likewise the bathroom was spacious enough, however the loft room ceiling was not high and I bumped my head several times. The bunk room was tiny but adequate and well designed with plenty of shelf storage and hanging as well as a small desk. The mattresses and linen were excellent. There was nowhere to sit and relax in the room, so we did this outside the room in the spacious lounge area on the lobby level. The only problem in terms of comfort was that even with the heating off at our request (controlled from reception) the rooms were extremely warm and we had to sleep with the balcony door open to adequately cool the room (and it was -14 degrees outside !!!) as well as request a fan for the loft which was always hot. That was the only issue we had in our whole stay, otherwise everything was EXCELLENT. Immaculately clean, excellent housekeeping, wonderful complimentary afternoon tea and nibbles provided with drinks in the bar etc. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this accommodation.
