Mr. Schiavon is a true master of hospitality — from confirming our hike details,to selecting the perfect wine, and arranging a special dinner at his friend’s restaurant, The Riviera. Our room featured a romantic four-poster bed,and the team made every moment special: Davide handled every detail seamlessly, Fabiola advised us on hikes and surprised us with a picnic lunch, Fernanda provided a perfect massage, and Giada’s passion for fresh, local ingredients made dining unforgettable — the tartare was the best we’ve ever had! Hotel Chalet del Sogno is a small family run hotel and is exceptional. We were a family of six staying over Christmas 2024 for a ski-ing holiday. We absolutely adored this hotel. they couldn t have tried harder to make us at home and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is located next to the Ski Lift (literally 3 mins walk) and they even put down a carpet down the hill to stop one slipping! They made a huge effort over Christmas even leaving little presents in our rooms. It was one of the best holidays we have had as a family. Extremely comfortable, friendly, relaxed, efficient - what more could you want! There is a ski hire place in the basement of the hotel. Fantastic spa with sauna and steam room. Highly recommend this hotel.

What a gem! We stayed here for 2 nights during a cycling/hiking trip. The hotel blends incredible warmth, cozy luxury, and charm. The staff are incredibly attentive and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. The rooms are stunning - I wanted to take our 4-posted, goose down covered bed home with us. The beautiful spa area is all included - sauna, steam room, pool, hot tub, weight room. The delicious snacks and non-alcoholic drinks they serve gratis every evening are a delightful welcome back after a day of exploring the Dolomites. The breakfast was one of the most varied, extensive and delicious spreads we encountered on our whole trip. On top of all this, the hotel excels at efforts to be sustainable and respectful of the environment. It has geothermal heating, uses local untreated wood for decor and furniture, it generates >80% of its electrical needs, uses wooden reusable keys, and the food it serves is from area farms.

“Be Cautious if You Have A Pet”

Pros: clean; friendly staff; good breakfast and dinner; very nice wellness area with swimming pool and sauna; quiet room. Cons: were we set up? 1. We originally booked via Booking.com, but were contacted by the hotel and told to cancel that reservation and place a new one directly with them. This was on the pretext of 2. During the last night of our stay, the owner claimed that several scratch marks on the inside of the front door of our suite were made by our dog. The owner approached us with a video recorded outside of the room by a member of the housekeeping staff, in which dog noises could be heard. However, several elements do not correspond to the owner’s claim. Firstly, many scratch marks were too high for our dog to have reached (a coton de tulear, 6kg), and too deep. Secondly, there is no proof, assuming that damage was done, which scratch marks were made by our dog. Thirdly, the owner only reached out to us on the last night of our stay, even though this supposedly occurred during the morning of the second day. Therefore, further damage might have been averted. Fourthly, we have been travelling with our dog for nine years, and such a thing by has never occurred before. The dog has only ever scratched at the floor lightly when about to lay down (and his nails are always trimmed). Despite this, we were charged a supplement of 150 €. It is also noteworthy that guests with a pet are still charged an additional 25 € per night and that we stayed five nights. Also, beware of projections of boiling water in the Turkish bath, as we were burned by these. Lastly, the owner showed signs of burnout which were translated to a moody and sometimes haughty disposition towards the guests.
