This apartment hotel is very central, just around the corner from the main square and all the local bars, cafes, shops and restaurants. You were able to follow a charming blue run down from the mountain which was a five minute walk from the apartments, ski lifts were all within comfortable walking distance as was the ski pass and ski bus ticket office. We arrived around 9.30 in the evening by pleasant staff, but were somewhat taken a back to be asked for a totally unexpected deposit for the apartment of 150euros, when we explained we only had 50 euros in cash on us the lady receptionist said that would do. Our apartment was designed to accommodate six people, a nice double bedded room, a bunk bed room and a twin bed settee in the lounge, which once out meant the lounge was too cramped to use. This was the big disappointment, we were certainly glad that there was only the two of us, the lounge was so small it would have barely accommodated four people, let alone two. Had there been six of you and you wanted to sit at the table and eat, furniture removal away from the kitchen where the table and chairs were pushed up against the fridge, indeed you could not stand at the cooker and use the cooker without moving the table and chairs, you could not walk around the table.once you had rearranged the table and chairs to eat you could not move around the lounge. The kitchen though small was adequate to prepare light meals, there was a fridge, but in our opinion the microwave was dangerously situated in a high cupboard. My husband is 5ft 6 and he had to,operate the microwave by standing on a chair to make his porridge in the morning, we were worried about hot food falling on our faces. We felt that the electrical sockets in the apartment needed attention, some came away from the wall as you tried to pull a plug out, some sockets didn't work at all.
