I stayed with my daughter at Hotel Ravelli in Mezzana from March 21st to March 28th, 2026. It was yet another visit in my skiing history at this special place — but the first one after the renovation. I must say one thing: I am truly impressed. The hotel after the refurbishment is outstanding, refined in every detail. But what truly makes it exceptional are the people. The service is absolutely remarkable — professional, warm, and genuinely kind. The food is delicious, and there is something you simply cannot fake — the sincere smiles of every member of the team. I didn’t feel like a guest — I felt like I was staying with a good friend. That is rare and incredibly valuable. I am deeply grateful to all of you for this stay. Alfredo — thank you from the bottom of my heart! This time was not only incredibly enjoyable for me, but also very important. “Wonderful hotel with excellent service”

My 2 adult sons and I stayed in one of the lodges of the hotel, which are very well equipped and maintained. Upon arrival we found a very nice welcome plate of charcuterie and cheese with a choice of wines available in the lodge at very reasonable prices. The spa and sauna on the terrace of our lodge offered great relaxation after a day of ski. With the lodge we also had a private parking space which, by elevator, took us immediately almost to the front door of our lodge. The host, Alfredo, was readily available in case of questions and will go out of his way to give you a pleasant stay! The ski bus stops right in front of the hotel and at the most, you will need to wait 10 mins if you just missed the previous one. But honestly, even walking to the ski lift only takes you 10 mins (I do recommend to hire a locker at the ski lift where you can not only leave your skis and boots but they also have “helmet heating”). The other hotel of the same owners is right at the ski lift and offers great après ski (the terras has full sunshine late afternoon so ideal place to have a drink after a day of hard work ;-). Definitely worth visiting too! We brought very nice memories back of our stay at Ravelli!

We stayed at the hotel as a group of five adults. For greater comfort, we chose to book two rooms: a spacious lounge suite with a private jacuzzi and sauna, and a standard double room. The hotel has both strengths and a few areas for improvement. Highlights: The breakfasts and desserts were absolutely outstanding. We sent compliments to the kitchen several times and even ordered the hotel’s signature apple strudel twice — highly recommended! Dinner was also very good. For €35 per person, guests can enjoy a cold appetizer, a first course, a main course, and dessert (drinks are not included). If you wish to invite friends who are not staying at the hotel, the same price applies to them as well. Room Experience: The lounge suite was spacious and perfectly suited for a family stay. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a thoughtful compliment of a meat and cheese platter and bottled water — a lovely touch. Rooms are cleaned daily, towels are changed every day, and everything was spotless. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were large and well designed. However, sound insulation could be improved. Street noise was quite noticeable, almost as if the windows were open. We would recommend choosing rooms that do not face the road. Another issue was the temperature in the rooms — it was too warm, and we occasionally woke up at night feeling a lack of fresh air. Unfortunately, the temperature could not be adjusted. Restaurant Service: One inconvenience was that cappuccinos could not be made independently, so guests had to wait for a waiter to take the order and then wait again for the coffee to be served. At times this took quite long — on a couple of occasions up to 30 minutes — and there were minor mix-ups with the number of coffees ordered. The restaurant manager did not seem particularly welcoming and appeared too busy to dedicate even a short moment to us on a few occasions. That said, this did not significantly affect our overall experience. Spa Area — 10/10: The spa area is truly luxurious, with separate zones for families and adults only. Daily sauna rituals and special sessions (such as a sound bath) are offered. Clean towels are provided and can be exchanged unlimited times. In the room, guests receive two large bathrobes and a convenient spa bag for carrying swimwear and essentials. The spa also offers tea, dried fruits, and a quiet relaxation room. This area truly deserves a perfect 10 out of 10. Pet-Friendly Policy: The hotel is pet-friendly, so guests should be prepared for the presence of dogs. At the beginning of our stay, we had an unpleasant situation when a neighboring dog barked continuously on the balcony. When we reported it, the receptionist asked, “How can I help you with that?”, which felt somewhat dismissive, as we had come for rest and quiet. However, we would like to sincerely highlight the outstanding professionalism and responsiveness of another receptionist, Vanessa. She later handled all of our concerns attentively and quickly resolved the barking issue. Vanessa truly added significant value to our overall impression of the hotel. Additional Positives: The hotel is conveniently located near bus stops. Ski and boot storage rooms are thoughtfully designed. From 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm, a snack bar serves delicious desserts, and the cozy fireplace in the room creates a wonderful atmosphere. We also regularly saw the owner of the hotel, who was warm, welcoming, and actively engaged with guests — a very pleasant and personal touch. Overall, we would rate the hotel a strong 9 out of 10.

This is the second time we have stayed at Hotel Ravelli, and the second time we have been blown away by the experience. Honestly the most enjoyable hotel experience we have ever had. The bar, the food, ski room and the cleanliness are incredible. But the best experience comes from 1. The spa and 2. The staff. The spa is fantastic and includes 2 outdoor pools (one family and one adult) 2 sauna (again one family and one adult ) steam rooms, indoor pool multiple relaxation areas and more... . The staff are amazing and the owner/manager comes to the table every evening to chat to the guests. In a country where service is sometime shoddy Ravelli smashes it. The rooms are amazing, clean, spacious and comfortable. Clearly if you are thinking of coming here ... my sincere advice is go for it...you won't be disappointed. For skiers there is a bus that stops outside every 10 min, which takes you to the lift at marilleva 900(less than 5 min drive...you could probably walk it in 10). The only negative for my family was the day we had to come home....
