We stayed here for 7 nights and the hotel is simply lovely. It has the feel of a family run hotel in every way. The rooms are immaculate and the breakfast is very good and will suit everyone's taste (some guests reserve breakfast tables which we found quite odd yet also quite quirky). The staff did all they could for us. The free bikes were also a great added bonus!! We loved our stay here.

“Great location in Torbole with parking included, perfect for windsurfers, clean, professional staff”

Nice location, close to the lake (two minute walk) and the many windsurf centres of the windsurfing capital of Garda lake. Parking is included and on-site. Nice location, close to the lake (two minute walk) and the many windsurf centres of the windsurfing capital of Garda lake. Parking is included and on-site. Rooms are of a decent size and kept very clean by the attentive service staff. Pool and jacuzzi are clean and of decent size. Breakfast buffet is good and wholesome with good coffee - best cappuccino from a fully-automated espresso machine I have had for some time. Bacon and eggs, cereals, fruits, Italian cheeses, trout (which goes very nicely with scrambled eggs), cakes etc Staff is professional. A special mention goes to Manuel (in our view the "Italian George Clooney") who works the evening/night shift. He embodies kindness, service and attention to detail. An example: We arrived home late to the hotel from an extended day trip. He spotted us arriving in our car and knew we were travelling with little children, so he helped us by carrying a few bags and letting us enter through the side entrance to expedite "putting the children to sleep". Oh, and his Aperol Spritz is among the best in town, if not the best! Thanks George... ummm, we mean Manuel! :-D

“Near the beach and perfect for people who like sports”

The staff are friendly, parking is free and inside the hotel grounds. Most visitors were from Austria, Switzerland, Germany or Italy. The staff are friendly, parking is free and inside the hotel grounds. Most visitors were from Austria, Switzerland, Germany or Italy. Breakfast was fresh fruit in a bowl already chopped, boiled eggs and scrambled eggs were offered, fresh apple juice but no water. A small selection of cheese and mozzarella and tomato. The location is a short walk to the beach where there are wind surfing schools, mountain biking trails, motor bikers, small towns, swimming areas and walking trails. The hotel has a swimming pool and jacuzzi for those who want to relax at the hotel.

Stayed for a week in September 2011. Good points : - recently refurbished rooms; - very clean; - spacious rooms and balconies; - good wi fi; - small pool and pleasant garden area; - good breakfast selection; - easy access via public transport to other areas on Lake Garda; - short walk from lake shore. Bad points : - slightly cramped breakfast room; - silly notes all over breakfast area instructing that food must be eaten there and must not be removed from dining area (not something I would ever do and I find it objectionable to have a sign intructing me about such etiquette); - elders of the family owners behave like food security guards whilst guests are having breakfast. Overall, one of the better 3 star hotels I stayed in on my trip to Italy. However, as with all Italien hotels of this grade, it does not really compare with 3 star hotels elsewhere, such as the US or the UK. Rooms are not luxurious, more the budget end of 3 star accommodation - they are nicely refurbished, but somewhat minimalist. Nonetheless, they are large, comfortable, always clean and pleasant smelling, and have reasonable size balconies. Modern conveniences such as key card entry, wi fi, and new TV and fridge are all good. Overall the stay was enjoyable and I would consider staying here again if I was looking for a base in northern Lake Garda.
