What an amazing hotel! Great location, approximately a 10-minute stroll to the main ski lifts. The food is incredible – buffet starters in the evening followed by three courses, which you select the day before (or on arrival). Everything was excellent quality and the service was quick and efficient. The buffet breakfast had a great selection and set us up perfectly for the day. We are returning to Passo Tonale for Easter but unfortunately couldn’t book this hotel – we would happily pay to come back just for dinner one evening, it was that good. We stayed in a family room which had plenty of storage and was very clean. We did have an issue with one of the beds on the first night as it made a very loud noise whenever the person moved, which disturbed everyone’s sleep. We mentioned it to reception the next morning and, once they understood the issue, they went above and beyond – we expected a repair, but instead they replaced it with a completely new bed and mattress. The next night we all slept brilliantly. In terms of layout, just a couple of things to be aware of (not negatives, just helpful to know when booking a family room). There is a separate sleeping area upstairs, but access to the bathroom/toilet (located near the entrance) requires going through the main bedroom. This can be a little tricky at night, especially as the rooms are very dark and you may need to put lights on, which could disturb others. There is also no door separating the two sleeping areas – although there are enclosed stairs, both levels open directly into the bedrooms. Similarly, the bathroom is accessed via the main bedroom, so those in the second sleeping area would need to pass through. This wasn’t an issue for us at all, but is useful to know, particularly if travelling with older children or teenagers. We didn’t use the hotel’s ski storage/boot room as we chose to hire lockers at the ski hire shop next to the slopes, which worked really well for us and made getting ready each day very easy. There is also a large playroom with a soft play area for children, with plenty to keep them entertained. The hotel itself was spotless and the staff were excellent throughout. The pool wasn’t quite ready when we stayed, so we’d love to experience that next time. It’s easy to see why this hotel has such great reviews – they clearly care about their guests and go above and beyond. We would definitely recommend and would return in a heartbeat.

“Family ski trip to Italy”

We had an amazing stay here. Brilliant service and good food, especially for challenging dietary requirements like a gluten free vegetarian (me!). We had an amazing stay here. Brilliant service and good food, especially for challenging dietary requirements like a gluten free vegetarian (me!). Anna was brilliant at mealtimes as were all the waiting staff and our daughter loved Salvatore. The new pool and spa are amazing. Lovely bar and children's room too. We have just booked again for 2027! Such a brilliant family friendly hotel.

“Fabulous Hotel”

Fabulous hotel, cozy welcoming, rooms a good size New Spa was such a bonus, with fantastic views of mountains from both pools and saunas. The food is the star, exceptional quality and choice, all staff encountered were efficient and friendly, would highly recommend

Lovely hotel with beautiful scenic views. Nice size rooms with reasonable storage. Staff were great - helpful, efficient and friendly. The recently opened spa was fantastic and a real bonus. The food was a highlight- great variety and quality. Only downside being the distance from the lifts, with the local ski bus being very unreliable we hired a locker at the bottom of the slopes. A minibus service would have been ideal (similar to that of its next door neighbour)outlook staff. But still a great hotel !!
