The hotel is in nice surroundings. It is a 15 min walk into town (we knew this before booking) The room we had was in the main building but was of poor quality. Astoria is located on the edge of town - next to the bus station and a highway. This means many rooms have a view or a urban city - when travelling from London to lake Garda this view is not what we wanted and can spoil the much anticipated trip.
