“Pleasant stay with a great pool”

We stayed 6 nights in a premium room. The room was great, very spacious with two bathrooms and a balcony and we felt we got a great deal for it! The cleaners were amazing making the bed each day. The air conditioning was really good. The only downside was the two single beds as a double bed as they moved apart quite easily. The pool was great, with amazing bar service to order drinks or snacks. The lounging furniture was comfortable. The breakfast was not great but it did the job when we were not too hungry in the mornings after eating big meals out. The coffee machine at breakfast should be updated but the hotel bar’s coffee is great. The WiFi does not always work so is unreliable.

As a party of four we arrived with a coach load from Verona airport at what the Tui representatives declared as the first full contingent of Brits back to Lake Garda. The hotel was well prepared and staff were on hand throughout our week long stay; there were some very minor issues over the course of the week but these were addressed promptly. The food was of a good standard and the practice was to order your dinner at breakfast; I guess that makes good sense from the catering perspective and no doubt reduced waste. There was a fish, meat and vegetarian option everyday and the standard dinner was for four courses; salad starter, main starter, main course and desert. If you got your timing wrong and hit the peak you would need to queue for coffee / tea as well as the salad bar. I think there were about 50% of guests from Germany, 35% from the UK and 15% others; what was noticeable was the very low number of children but that could relate to the time of season. The swimming pool is fantastic and the views from the bedroom balcony were stunning. A final note goes to the front of house in the restaurant (Antonio) who worked tirelessly to keep everyone happy during the meal times; he was most definitely in charge and kept his team working at tempo and our table waiter (Andreas) did a great job too. In summary, a great family holiday in a well run hotel; a few minutes walk and you were at the edge of the lake where there were myriad bars and restaurants and trips to Verona, Venice and around the lake via a boat were all easy to arrange through the Tui representatives.

This is your basic hotel. Not all the rooms have AC so confirm before you go. We had only a fan. Expect to hear traffic if the room is facing the street. This is your basic hotel. Not all the rooms have AC so confirm before you go. We had only a fan. Expect to hear traffic if the room is facing the street. Swimming pool is good size and not occupied most of the time. There is a cafe downstairs. Breakfast is buffet style, coffee is automatic machine made so not the best quality. The staff is very helpful and nice. The lake is only 5 minutes away.
