We found out about this resort from our friends about 4 years ago and finally decided to book the trip. Rooms get booked up very quickly so we were lucky to get the last one for the 4 of us and 2 dogs. Booking team was super helpful and even booked us for exact dates rather than usual Sat-Sat, with a change of room on day 2 though. However, when we arrived, they managed to rearrange things and we stayed in the same room all 7 days. Driving to the hotel was way easier than to our usual place in Canazei. So if you don't like driving in the mountains, this is definitely a huge plus in terms of location. On approach and when we walked into hotel for check in, we were amazed by what we saw, when it comes to skiing, this hotel definitely a 5 star! Our room, balcony in it and the view on the mountains were absolutely stunning, there and then we knew we made the right choice. But things got even better later! Ski rental is in the main building, ski lockers are allocated to all and properly heated overnight, it takes less than 30 secs to get from the locker to the skiing area you start you day from! We stayed on the slopes until 4pm on our first day - lots of snow (artificial at the time that we went, but no impact to the areas where you could ski), good combination of Reds and Blues and occasionally Blacks which we usually avoid if we can. Pretty much no waiting on the lifts, the max was probably 5-7 mins on one or two at peak times with average of 1-2 mins. Several lifts have heated seats. Bars are all over the skiing area for lunch and drinks, obviously you need to watch the busy times if you don't want to wait for the table. After first day of skiing we decided to relax in a spa, our building was 1 min away from the main one and we decided to use our local sauna on the day - new, not busy, fairly large and with hot water tub outside - super relaxing. On day 2 we decided to explore the main Spa facilities - another place you will be amazed by, at least we were and we are used to staying in 5 start places. 4 different saunas, large internal pool (mostly for kids but still), large pool outside and a selection of spa treatments! We have been spending there 2 hours daily for the duration of the trip. Now lets quickly talk about food - we wanted to mostly cook or eat out so haven't booked anything with the hotel. However, we did book a couple of breakfasts and dinners with them - food was delicious, presentation deserved Michelin star, wine selection was also superb! One thing to note is you need to book in advance as places are taken fairly quickly. Eating out was a bit of a problem as there were only a few restaurants in the village, however, you could always get take away from any of them and eat it on the balcony in the room looking at the mountains! Which is what we did when we didn't want to cook. But kitchen in the room was everything you would need if you don't want to spend money on eating out. Lastly, and probably most importantly, the staff was great, very friendly and made us feel welcomed at all times. This is a family business, most of the family work there as we found out and therefore they all treat this as their business. Huge thank you to all of you for making our holiday amazing!
