“A great hotel for a few days' break”

We were staying here 6 nights for a family gathering nearby in early October. My husband and I had a room overlooking the pool with a balcony and our daughter one without. The weather was beautiful and sunny in the daytime, so we enjoyed the swimming pool which was clean and warm. Being at altitude, expect cold in the early morning or after sunset - we were grateful for the lovely central heating in our room and throughout the hotel. If you are looking for bland, corporate decoration and furniture, stay elsewhere. This place has personality, our rooms were spacious, comfortable and practical, the bathrooms decent with good hot water supply and fresh towels daily. I would agree with reviews that point out the soundproofing is not perfect, so earplugs recommended if you are sensitive. Roberto and his team are super-welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast is fresh and there is a fair range including yoghurt, home made fresh fruit salad, breads, scrambled eggs and bacon, cheeses, cold meats, cereal and pastries. Coffee is good, of course! There is an easy, free car park right by the hotel and an excellent supermarket a few steps along the road. We ate in two of the restaurants a few steps from the hotel - both very good. The (infrequent) bus stops right outside and the railway station to Lucca etc is a short drive away (with free parking). The nearby spa and treatment centre is well worth a visit - 20 min walk or 5min drive away - daughter and I and some of our family spent a happy couple of hours with sauna, little heated pool, mud treatment and massage.

“Perfect hotel in centre of Bagni di Lucca”

An ideal hotel in the centre of this small town, close to cafes, restaurants and shops. Breakfast served on the shady terrace with a good variety of food and lovely cakes. Beautiful thermal water pool, very friendly and helpful owner, and tastefully decorated rooms in typical Tuscan style, some with balcony. Stayed for a week in searing heat. Couldn't fault it!

I stayed here twice, within a few weeks of each other. The hotel is located nicely and is within walking distance of many restaurants and local bars. I found the staff friendly, including the owner, Robertbo. The staff were very attentive and always made sure there were drinks and snacks on offer when sitting in the garden area or around the pool. The grounds of the hotel were really looked after, along with a decent-sized pool and jacuzzi with loungers. Breakfast in the mornings was served outside, and there was plenty to have, along with pasties, mixed breads, yoghurt, bacon, eggs, meats (ham, etc.), cheeses, tomatoes, etc. Fresh coffees and juices—I was never disappointed. The rooms were large and comfortable, along with air conditioning for those days when it was too hot. I'm looking forward to my next stay

“Cosy hotel in Bagni Di Lucca. ”

Stayed at this hotel for a weekend with my husband. We were a part of a bigger group staying here. The hotel have a great location in Bagni di Lucca. Close to several stores and at least two restaurants. I really love Italy and its atmosphere and this hotel was no exception. This hotel is old fashion, and had a lot of history. But it have everything we needed for our stay. We stayed in a big bedroom with a small bathroom. The negativ things was it was a bit cold in the room and we could hear other guests at night and cars driving by outside. Outside of the hotel they had a garden, a swimming pool and a small pool. Breakfast was okey, typical Italian. The people working here did not speak much english, but we worked it out with a bit body language I would stay here again!
