“Conveniently located”

It is an old hotel that could do with a bit of modernisation but the rooms are good enough and clean. We had two amazing dinners at the hotel restaurant, very delicious food and really friendly service.

“Trip to Umbria”

The hotel is located in the center of Terni. The hotel is near tothe main street and not far from most of the restorents. The room areclean but old. The eircondition is not working. The staff are nice but with poor english.

We stopped at Hotel De Paris, so that we could visit the Marmore falls (highly recommended) before setting off for the Sibillini mountains national park. We parked off the road instead than in the private area, but that was for our own convenience. Staff very helpful and friendly and helped us find somewhere to eat despite us being very late arriving. Location ideal for a stopover as it was easy to find (just near the train station, so it was possible to follow the signs to that). The quadruple room we had was very spacious for the price. Only downside was that it was a little noisy (noise coming from the outside), but that of course is the consequence of the central location. Breakfast is pretty standard, nothing bad, nothing exceptional, but the staff was very nice there too and helped us when we asked for things not on display (like milk).

We stayed there just for one night. We requested an allergy-friendly room and we got one without problems. The room was really big and nicely decorated. Kind of retro-chic style, kind of romantic. We really enjoyed it. The bad thing it that we had a room on the upper floor, so we had to keep the windows and the shutters closed, because we had pigeons walking on the windowsill and chatting loudly pretty much all the time. The room was a bit dark, but nice anyway. The breakfast could be richer, it was very basic, both for sweets and salty tastes... Staff: extremely friendly and helpful

The location 100m away from the railway (and bus) station is ideal if you choose Terni as a base for day trips in southern Umbria. The room was sizeable enough, with dated furniture (the hotel would welcome an overall refurbishment, in my view), slightly smelly, reasonably clean. One problem was that noise insulation was poor, so that I could clearly listen to conversations in the room nearby. Service staff was reasonably polite and available for information. The breakfast spread was good enough, with relative abundance of sweet choices, as it often happens in Italy. The availability of a good restaurant within the premises of the hotel was a plus. Room price was relatively cheap, so that value for money was very good. Overall, a good choice for a few days in this city, although the next time it would be worth trying one of the other 2~3 hotels of the same class in the neighborhood of the station.
