“Mosella Suite Hotel - fantastic”

Fantastic stay in this lovely hotel. Staff were amazing, the hotel was so clean, breakfast was perfect for our family with plenty of choices on offer. Location was so good and there was a private car park and a really nice beach a few minutes walk.

Quality. One of the best hotels I've ever been to. Very modern, very clean, very well-equipped. Great swimming pool- we didn't spend as much time as we had hoped in the pool area because the weather turned colder and more rainy when we arrived. Good gym (for a hotel gym). The young staff on the reception desk are excellent, very helpful. They booked a restaurant in Chioggia for us for one evening, organised a taxi to the airport, and arranged breakfast boxes for us when we had to leave for the airport before breakfast. The cleaning staff were also good, helping us by showing us how to use the electric cooker! Great breakfast. The hotel has it's own (very smart) beach club 10 minutes walk up the road, including a bar, snacks and gelato. Bikes can be hired, which is useful because it is about a 30 minutes walk to the front in neighbouring Chioggia. The hotel does have a restaurant attached, M4 Centro, which has an amazing marina-front location, and does nice/very nice food, but (in our experience) the service was nowhere near as good as that in the hotel. In conclusion, I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a hotel in Sottomarina or Chioggia.

The hotel is run professionally, staffed by highly intelligent and helpful people, and has the best views of the Adriatic! It is immaculately clean, dog and children friendly. Breakfast, varied and plentiful is served in a large room, overlooking the marina by most efficient staff. The pastries and cakes are freshly prepared on the premises by a gifted and beautiful Rebecca to whom we are very grateful. We were immediately provided with a topper for a mattress on request. The small gym was good for exercise. Unlike many hotels, the excellent manager was interested in his guests and always eager to help. we cannot wait to come to Mosella Hotel again!

First time to the area, this hotel, and also our first time away with our 1.5 year old. First impressions, excellent! Very smart hotel inside and out. Super friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. Hotel seemed very quiet but clearly it is their off season as the area was also very quiet and lots of things on the same street seemed to be closed. But as we only stayed a couple of days, this wasn’t a problem. We found a local play area for our toddler and spent a couple of hours at the pool. We also used the bicycles to cycle into the town that were included in our stay which was a must! Suitable seating for our little one, they also provided her with a helmet which fit perfectly. She loved it! Room was a luxury lagoon suite. It was immaculate! Super clean and modern. Lovely view of the harbour, plenty of towels and bedding. Travel cot was lovely and comfy for our little one. We did take our own sheet for extra comfort and she slept through both nights absolutely fine. Black out electric blinds in the room was also super handy to help her sleep. Kids channel on the tv if needed (although not in English) she didn’t seem to mind! 🤣 plenty of space for her to play with her toys. If I had to be particular with any negatives, is that there isn’t a kettle in the room (there is a coffee machine) but as we had our own coffee, we would have liked to have been able to make our own. Only 2 small mugs in the room, we would have preferred bigger ones/more of them. We struggled to work out the air con, it was extremely cold at times which I’m sure during hotter months is a god send but as we were visiting during very hot weather, we didn’t really need it. Just couldn’t seem to make it much warmer! Apart from that, zero complaints for the room and would still highly recommend. Breakfast and the service was fantastic. Stacks of choice and very nice coffee. High chair provided for little one and plenty of choice for her to eat. Despite being the only child there, they were very welcoming and despite the mess she made when eating (if you’re a toddler parent you will understand) they were extremely accommodating and refused to let me clear up after her. We even forgot her spoon one morning and it was waiting at reception for us on checkout. We didn’t eat at the restaurant and if you have children, I probably wouldn’t recommend. I tend to share a meal with my toddler as she wouldn’t eat a whole meal to herself and I couldn’t see anything suitable for her. So we did have to eat out at night. The atmosphere of the restaurant seemed quite stand off-ish, they didn’t seem to want to engage or welcome us in. My understanding is that they are separate to the hotel so I wouldn’t judge the hotel based on the restaurant. Overall, we would 100% stay here again and would recommend others too also.
