First Padua - well worth a visit. Easy stop between Florence, Boligna and Venice. A lot more to see than expected - and not as crowded with tourist. Majestic Hotel perfectly located close to main square and lots of good restaurants as well as just two blocks from main shopping street. Rooms were larger than is typical in Italy, very well appointed, we had beautiful bathroom with claw foot tub. Wish we would have tried it. Nice views and a lot of light. Staff very helpful, and a nice breakfast. Will definitely stay here again.

Like a curate's egg, good in parts, a spacious bright room and very helpful porters and restaurant staff in a very clean, boutique, hotel. Very, very, very central with everything within walking distance, located in the oldest part of the city, in the Jewish quarter. Very good value and parking was included, in one of their garages about 4 mins walk but 12 mins drive away. However, it's centrality was also a negative, under great duress we got the car to Piazza Duomo but had to phone the hotel then to be rescued, the streets become so intricate and frightfully narrow that it becomes like a maze. The water in the shower was just barely warm enough but certainly not hot enough to shave. Above the mirror was fixed a large light that some electrician has neglected to connect to any switch, but it looked well. Breakfast was about 2-star, no fault of the staff, it just needs proper food input, the so-called hot offering is not even worth a comment. When booking about 6 weeks prior we specifically asked for a quiet room, based on other reviews. This was positively acknowledged, until of course until we got there, when the receptionist reassured us that the forecast was for a very wet night so things should be quiet outside. No need to tell you that the receptionist and the weather forecasters got it wrong; the hotel provided ear plugs, I'd suggest you bring your own - "Quies" brand is the best. So if you don't eat breakfast, have reduced hearing, a beard and arrive on foot this would be the perfect hotel for you. however, having said all that would I stay there again? if I was going back to the fabulous city of Padova, (which I would love to do) you know, I probably would! PS Around 2 small corners is a very very good Chinese Restaurant - Shanghai

We stayed in this hotel for two nights in August 2025. The hotel is well located. Driving in central Padua is tricky because of the maze off narrow, historic streets. The hotel's friendly team helped us with our arrival and departure by taking us to a good car park nearby. Padua's amazing sights, with breathtaking artworks, are all walkable. We enjoyed a full day's sight-seeing and visited all of the principal churches and palaces, many of which are decorated with legendary frescoes by Giotto and his pupil Menabuoi. The rooms were charming and offered excellent value. The hotel provided a good list of recommended restaurants by email at our request ahead of our stay. We chose Belle Parti and Dante alle Piazze and enjoyed both very much - the food, service and fantastic Italian wines were very commendable. We also enjoyed pre-diner drinks in some of Padua's lovely bars with seats outside. The famous Cappella deli Scrovegni offers timed tickets. We bought ours and returned, but I should really have booked online in advance. The management dealt very well with a concern we had. In all other ways this was an excellent stay.

“Good hotel but beds and showers need serious improvement”

A nice hotel central to Padua. Excellent location. The breakfast was very very good. The staff are very helpful and kind. The beds are not comfortable. The shower was terrible. No pressure and not possible to have a steady temperature. Everything else was good
