Five Stars for The Venice Venice Hotel Our stay at the extraordinary Venice Venice Hotel was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was not just a hotel, but a true Venetian experience. Every detail feels intentional, artistic, and deeply connected to the city’s history and culture. Unlike traditional luxury hotels, Venice Venice has created something entirely unique, where contemporary design, historic architecture, creativity, and hospitality come together beautifully. Room 25 was simply unforgettable. The suite felt more like a private Venetian residence than a hotel room. Every space was thoughtfully designed, with stunning details, incredible craftsmanship, and a sense of character that cannot be replicated. One of the things that makes Venice Venice so special is that no two rooms are alike, and Room 25 felt like discovering a hidden treasure within the city itself. The location is absolutely perfect. Situated directly on the Grand Canal, we were steps away from Venice’s most iconic sights while still feeling immersed in an authentic neighborhood atmosphere. Whether enjoying a morning walk, stopping for a Bellini by the water, shopping, exploring hidden alleyways, or simply watching gondolas drift by, everything felt effortlessly accessible. What truly elevated the experience was the people. The entire team made us feel genuinely welcome from beginning to end. Luxury is often defined by beautiful spaces, but exceptional hospitality is what creates lasting memories, and the staff at Venice Venice delivered that at every turn. Warm, professional, knowledgeable, and passionate about their hotel and city, they made our stay feel incredibly personal. The atmosphere throughout the property is unlike anywhere else we have stayed. There is an energy here that is creative, sophisticated, and distinctly Venetian. Whether enjoying the canal views, relaxing in the beautifully designed spaces, or simply taking in the details around us, there was always something fascinating to discover. Venice Venice is not a hotel you simply sleep in. It becomes part of your Venice story. For travelers looking for something beyond traditional luxury, something authentic, artistic, and unforgettable, this hotel is truly one of the most unique properties in Venice. We arrived with high expectations and left completely captivated. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Venice Venice team for an exceptional stay. Room 25 and this remarkable hotel will forever be part of our favorite memories of Venice, and we cannot wait to return.

Hotel was nice and had a moody dark vibe inside. The staff at the front desk were very helpful in assisting with transportation, activity, and meal planning. Hotel was nice and had a moody dark vibe inside. The staff at the front desk were very helpful in assisting with transportation, activity, and meal planning. The hotel has an odd layout as it’s situated between a few buildings but during checkout we got a tour to our room which helped. We wished the lighting in our room could have been brighter at times but we made do. You could play the hotel music in your room. Breakfast downstairs was phenomenal and I would highly recommend going to dinner here as well! The meals made up for the quirks of the hotel for sure!

OK so let me give a useful review for those confused by the mixed feedback. If you are a four seasons lover where it is all about total convenience and minimalist comfort, this is not the hotel for you. If you love the boutique feel blended with stunning historical architecture and artistic value then this is heaven. The hotel reception, lobby, and bar is just stunning, every detail is thought through and the service and food is exceptional. The deck outside the restaurant is the most perfectly positioned in Venice, pure candy for the eyes as the Venice traffic passes at its own pace. The overall service is exceptional, Claudia on reception planned a whole day visits to Murano and Burano and it was superbly executed while staying in communication on WhatsApp to ensure everything happens on time. The rooms are stunning, the bed is amazingly comfortable and the design is fabulous. The lighting system is the only slight reservation I had as I am a techy and it is unnecessarily complex and challenging at times. No plugs to side of bed is an issue for me as I have a CPAP machine but they do have USBC sockets: Location is top notch, just short of the Rialto bridge, you are able to get to almost anywhere by foot within 10-15 mins and the simplicity of being able to land and depart in a boat is superb. The spa is not a full spa but a treatment groom and a private room with an indoor pool and Turkish bath which can be rented out for extra. The therapists were fantastic and the Turkish bath so cool. Overall, this is an exceptional location and a wonderful treat. Perfect for couples or parents with elder kids. Not where I would take younger kids for fear of breaking something. Fix the lighting and it is a full 5/5

The place is beautiful, and the girls are very kind, but the latest management rules and their rigidity leave me a bit shocked. It was our favorite place all winter, both the restaurant and the bar. You need a reservation for anything. They turn you away... without even noticing that the hat and sweater are from their shop. They don't understand that I truly care and am a customer. It's a place I've recommended to everyone from the first moment. All this from a local who has brought a lot of friends from abroad. I'm sorry there's no recognition whatsoever. I'm constantly treated like an unwanted stranger.
