Choosing where to stay in Verona was challenging, as I wanted something modern, hotel/apartment-style, central, but away from the busiest tourist area. After a lot of research, I booked a Deluxe Apartment at Lords of Verona overlooking Piazza dei Signori — and it was the perfect choice. The apartment was beautiful, spacious, and full of character. Set in a historic palazzo building, it had wonderful old-world features combined with modern comforts. The photos online don’t quite capture how elegant and charming it feels in person. The location is exceptional. Piazza dei Signori is, in my opinion, the best place to stay in Verona — it has the beauty and atmosphere of a historic piazza without the crowds and noise of Piazza delle Erbe. You are still only a short walk from everything, but you return to a much more peaceful setting. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the bed was one of the most comfortable we experienced during our entire European trip. My recommendation for Verona is to look beyond the main tourist attractions and focus on the city’s real highlights — the beautiful restaurants, charming streets, and unique experiences. For us, the highlight was attending an opera at the Arena di Verona, which was truly unforgettable. We absolutely loved Lords of Verona and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, central, and memorable stay in Verona.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of the city , ideal location for exploring Verona . The atmosphere is buzzing as in a square which has a very lovely feel as you step outside . Beautiful, clean spacious apartment, lovely for a family to spend quality relaxing time during a city break and its central location makes it ideal for an afternoon rest whilst exploring the city but missing the peak of the heat . The rooms look out onto the lovely little streets so it’s just such a lovely feel even when indoors . The blinds and curtains ensure privacy . Amazing lady who cleaned was always with a smile when we met her . Good value for money as it’s a luxurious stay in the heart of the city . But the highlight of the venue is the staff . All the staff were so friendly . Leonardo greeted us with the brightest smile as we checked in and went out of his way to ensure we had a lovely stay . He and his manager gave us so many recommendations of places to see and we really enjoyed them all . They asked us what our interests were , and recommended the visits and told us so much about Verona . Leonardo helped us with amazing dinner recommendations and also made reservations for us and the restaurants were amazing . We got on with our day whilst Leonardo timed the restaurant opening , made reservations and updated us via text . What an asset to this hotel , every morning he greeted us with.a smile and was always ready to help . Thank you Leonardo .and all the staff . We highly recommend this venue to anyone visiting Verona

“Boutique treasure in the heart of Verona.”

We were only able to spend two nights at Lords of Verona, but we would definitely return. You really can't beat the location which means it can be a little loud through the evening if your room faces the square with restaurants below, but it is generally quiet before midnight. We were only able to spend two nights at Lords of Verona, but we would definitely return. You really can't beat the location which means it can be a little loud through the evening if your room faces the square with restaurants below, but it is generally quiet before midnight. I love the cool Romeo and Juliet vibe mixed with modern touches. The inner halls feel very private and secure. There was no kind of included breakfast option that we were aware of which we had enjoyed at our previous to Northern Italy locations, but everything is a stone's throw when you stay here. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful with any question or request and also arranged airport transport for us.

I spent two nights recently at Lords of Verona and was quite impressed. The location couldn't be more central, on the Piazza dei Signori, right off Piazza delle Erbe. (On Friday and Saturday nights noise from outside could be an issue for some guests. The location of the apartment makes a difference.) The decor is very nice and combines contemporary style with a historic building. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. They have various sizes of apartments from studios up to 2-bedrooms, I think. Mine was a very comfortable 1-bedroom on a corner. Lots of windows. Please understand that this is an "aparthotel," meaning there is no breakfast served on the property, but the staff can refer you to nearby places if you want to have breakfast out. Due to its location on the Piazza dei Signori taxis can't reach directly in front of the property, but where they can stop is just a short walk. If you'll have a car the staff will explain in advance what the options are for parking. They don't have their own as they're not officially a hotel. All in all a really nice stay in the heart of Verona.
