The Courtyard was away from the hustle and bustle by Nagoya Station and right across the street from Don Quiote. The nearest subway station was less than 10 minute walk or approx 20 minutes to Nagoya station. This was a modern Courtyard throughout. I used a SNA (suite night award) upgrade and it was accepted prior to arrival and resulted in a larger corner room. Checkin went quickly and Bonvoy status recognized. Staff were very welcoming. A breakfast discount was provided and accepted which resulted in just paying Y1000 for two which was a great value. The room itself was large, modern and very similar in design to the Marriott Nagasaki. A separate toilet with electronic controls, large shower/tub and lots of counter space were featured in the bathroom area. A nespresso machine, refrigerator, air purifier and hot pot were also included. Great water pressure in the shower and comfy bedding made for a restful night. Breakfast was a bit crazy even as we arrived right at opening along with one or two tour groups trying to eat and run. Multiple stations with hot and cold foods were available and even featured Nagoya specialties like Kishimen with chicken and a meat filled omelette (forgot to note the actual name). Restaurant staff were on their toes and constantly circulating to clear used dishes and clear table for the next customers. The gym was large and featured modern cardio and weight equipment. It was quiet during my workout and everything was in working order. Recommended for a quieter experience in Nagoya and if you avoid the morning breakfast rush then even better.

“Room service hamburger was good”

I went to there 7months ago. Its location is a little far from the main street of Nagoya. But the facility was good and luxurious. Near the hotel there is a canal so the atmosphere was calm and beautiful. The room service was available and the hamburger tastes good.

The Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya was a fantastic hotel with friendly staff, clean premises and all the amenities needed for a family or business trip. My family (myself, wife and 3 year old son) stayed for three nights and had an excellent stay. The staff were accommodating, helpful and provided top notch service. The concierge was helpful in navigating the public transportation and driving routes, the breakfast included fresh and tasty options in both Western and Japanese styles, and the hotel gym was well maintained and had a variety of equipment. The rooms were mid-size and felt spacious. The open air and brightness provided a much larger feel and the set up of the bathroom made the room more accessible for a family of three. Check in and check out were seamless and staff provided requests (ice, extra towels, etc.) very fast. The hotel was also centrally located to many bus lines, rental car companies and shops and restaurants. Only a short taxi from Nagoya Station as well. Overall an excellent stay and somewhere we would come again if back in Nagoya.

We are not normally Courtyard customers having stayed over the last few days at the Nagoya Marriott Associa hotel. However, this Courtyard team managed to exceed expectations on all fronts. We had a lovely if not somewhat smallish corner suite but everything was modern and functioning well. They accommodated my request for a high floor and a connecting room so the accommodations were super appropriate for us. I love that they had fabric sprays in every closet to remove odors from the clothing. The daily service was prompt and clean. As they do not have a lounge, we were given coupons to enjoy food and drinks at their lobby lounge. It was all very relaxing and chill with the hotel manager welcoming us. He gave us many recommendations to eat in the neighborhood. For as much as we travel, we have rarely been welcomed by the hotel manager and the front desk manager. Nothing was too much for them and we really felt that it was our home away from home. Very impressive hotel management and we will definitely come back to this Courtyard!
