We stayed a few nights on a family trip. The location is awesome. 5-10min easy walk across to Nagoya station. Tons of restaurants right around the corner. And in the upscale mall across the street you can find a ton of affordable eats too. Of course easy to get around with triain, subway, etc. just across the road. Rooms are fine. Decent size for the price. Beds are good. Bathroom big enough. Again. All excellent for the price if you're want something in the "Holiday Inn" kind of price range. Special mention. There is free coffee in the lobby which is of very decent beans. Key coffee.

“Simple and convenient”

I booked a double room as a Titanium member. I was really surprised by the fact that the staff offered to put me into an accessible twin room and 4:00 PM late check out. While a smaller bed it was a more spacious room so in a sense it's kind of an upgrade which is not the norm for Four Points Flex.… more

I booked a double room as a Titanium member. I was really surprised by the fact that the staff offered to put me into an accessible twin room and 4:00 PM late check out. While a smaller bed it was a more spacious room so in a sense it's kind of an upgrade which is not the norm for Four Points Flex. Also typically 2:00 PM is the latest possible at other locations. As I stated, the room was more spacious than I expected. 14 square meters was the standard but this was 18 square meters. The size reminded me of the Four Points Flex Tokyo Ueno which is also marginally more generous with floor space than the other Four Points Flex locations in Japan. The fact that I could see out the window at all puts it above many other affordable business hotels. The hotel is located a quick walk east of Nagoya Station. Convenient and doable even with luggage. There's also a small lounge area with coffee. Overall it was a nice 1-night stay. Certainly a better experience than other Four Points Flex hotels I've stayed at in Japan. Fairly affordable, convenient, and just a touch above the average Japanese business hotel.

“I would not stay here again”

The greatest thing about this hotel is the front desk staff. They were so helpful and nice. They helped us find a great restaurant for dinner. They held our luggage all day after checkout so we could go to Ghibli Park. They helped us find a bus and they also forwarded some luggage for us to the nex… more

The greatest thing about this hotel is the front desk staff. They were so helpful and nice. They helped us find a great restaurant for dinner. They held our luggage all day after checkout so we could go to Ghibli Park. They helped us find a bus and they also forwarded some luggage for us to the next hotel. I was a little surprised to see the same crew who helped me in the evening still working in the morning. They told me they work 18 hour shifts! We found a few great restaurants in walking distance. Anyways, the rooms were not nice. They are smaller than cruise ship cabins. They are hot with minimal AC. I had two rooms for my family on the 6th floor and they both smelled moist and moldy. The weirdest thing is that there’s a phone in the room but you can’t call between rooms. I even tried to call the front desk to see if they could connect me and they said it is not possible. I had a hard time getting my teens up in the mornings without being able to call. Some guests might complain about me knocking on a door forever trying to wake up her teens! There’s a bottle filler machine by the elevator but otherwise no water. The double bed is pushed against a wall, and the person sleeping next to the wall has to slide out under the TV in a very tight space. I kept hitting my head on the TV. There was nowhere to put your luggage other than the floor. No closet. No luggage rack. Minimal shelving. No drawers. Our rooms were a total mess, shifting the luggage around each other. Only one person could move around the room at a time. Really strange hotel for us as a family, with 2 people to a room.
