Not a bad stay here. The standout feature is the free drink "happy hour" from 6pm-8pm. This includes beer, so there's a bunch of self service machines for soft drinks/tea/coffee etc. Most people, myself included, chose the beer. There were some small packets of snacks available too. You're only meant to have one drink btw, but as there's no staff around you could have more I guess.. The room is fine - though despite being on the 11th floor the view was of a wall opposite. No USBs. There is no ambient or dimmable light, so I had to use the bathroom light with door open to create a cosy feel. The reading light by the bed didn't work. Despite each room having its own WiFi SSID there is no YouTube etc streaming to the TV. The WiFi was a bit slow also.. Breakfast was fine, maybe slightly better than you get in a Toyoko, and was part of the room price so I wasn't complaining. So, overall it's fine. A little rough round the edges, but the free drink was a nice bonus!

We have been Nagoya several times but this was the first time we stayed here for 1 night. The room rates were generally lower than similar range hotel with breakfast included and was good value for money. We booked 3 rooms (2 rooms for 2-pax and 1 room for single person) and the latter was very small, standard sized in Japan. The 2-pax room was fine. After we went back to our room, shortly about 10-15mins later, the reception kept calling us (throughout the 3 rooms) and informing us to make our payment because he forgot to collect the payment when we were checking in. He sounded so urgent and emergency (scare as if we may run away) and wanted us to come down instantly to do so! OMG! Some of us were bathing while others were eating our meal. Other than this incident, the stay was overall satisfactory as beds were comfortable. The breakfast spread was good (included in the room rate as most others needed to pay for it) and had local and international dishes. What we felt interesting was the welcome drink, where guests could help themselves freely at the drink counter, for softdrinks, tea/coffee and even wine and spirits. It was good, being the first 3-star hotel to offer that. However, do note that the bar counter closes at around 8plus-9pm. And comics lover can help themselves with a bookshelf load of Japanese comics at the lobby too. Overall our stay here was satisfactory and by the way, it will take about 15mins of walking time to Nagoya station and there were eateries and convenience store just next to the hotel.

As the title says this is the best hotel we have stayed in Nagoya so far, and we have stayed in quite a few. We stayed in a superior room and found it great value for money. We ate breakfast most mornings and found it fresh, tasty, and moreish, if you want a full english dont stop here but why would you visit Nagoya and want a full english??? Staff are great, the rooms are immaculately clean and serviced every day.

Stayed for two nights. The standard twin room I got was not very big, and only had one desk for my friend and I to share. No wardrobe. Some hangers available. It was okay for the price they charged, breakfast buffet included. The highlight was the onsen bath on 2/F, and I went down one night at 10pm and had the whole place by myself! The staff don’t speak much English but they have a little translation device so the communication was fine.
