“Beautiful little Ryokan”
Beautiful little Ryokan with only 7 rooms in the Dogo area. We loved our 3 nights and really appreciated the host's style, advice and Hisa's japanese vegetable breakfast. All around are high rise hotels but you won't notice anymore once you're inside of Dougoya.

“Very nice traditional Ryokan.”
We came 2 adults and 2 children 9 and 6 years old, for a one day stay, and were very happy of the stay The good points: Traditional Ryokan Excellent welcome when we arrive (very nice and helpfule + speaking english and french) Excellent location Good price The bad points: none

“Pleasant ryokan with cosy atmosphere for a very good price”
For a reasonable price we got big and luxurious japanese style room with large window and the view on a dry garden. Spa bath was small and without any decoration but clean and sufficient. A cosy little ryokan that is nicely tucked away from the main road in the Dougo onsen area. The staff in the hotel are friendly and helpful. The Ryokan is small. The rooms are spacious traditional Japanese rooms.
