“Peace, tranquility, great food, great wine.”
What a lovely inn, owned by a husband and wife team, is perfect for unplugging and just relaxing, whether by the wood burning stoves, on the porch or taking a walk in the park just down the hill. “Fantastic stay”
We stayed there for a couple of nights and enjoyed the dinner on the first night. Everything was perfect: the location, the high level dinner, the rooms and obviously the kindness of the staff. We will definitely go back there when we visit the family in Gifu prefecture.

“Cannot recommend enough”
This is a beautiful homestay/hostel located about a 10 minute drive outside Takayama main centre. The place is beautiful, clean and very relaxing. Highly recommend booking the dinner with your stay, the food is incredible. Everything about this place is such good value for money!
