“nice place to stay”
Perfect location, impeccable cleanliness, excellent service! The hotel exceeded expectations in every aspect. Though facilities were good, they could have been slightly better. Overall, a highly recommended stay for a memorable experience.

Excellent location for the purpose of taking bus to Shirakawago, Shihotaka Ropeway and Okuhida Hot Spring villages. Right opposite bus and train. Next door to convenience store. “Ok older hotel very close to the train station.”
I chose this hotel because it was close to the train station and very central. It was clean, older style and pretty basic. The breakfast was ok. I think one day in Takayama is all you need to see the city sights. The hotel met our needs. Not special but ok for one night.

“Good budget hotel”
The room was extremely small but clean and adequate for a two night stay and was just across the road from the station. Convenience store was located underneath the hotel and there were plenty of restaurants within a 5 to 10 minute walk. Umbrellas could be borrowed from the hotel which came in us… more

“Good location but small”
This hotel is located right across from the Takayama JR train station and bus station. So it is very convenient, especially if you'd like to catch a morning bus to Shirakawago. However, the economy twin room is really small, with no table and very limited space to maneuver.
