“Welcoming and Serene”
Our stay at Oyado Hachibee was wonderful! The rooms are peaceful, the staff is welcoming, and the meals are delicious. We enjoyed the baths immensely. “Real Japanese awesome experience!”
We stayed 3 nights with baby and 7 years old kid and loved it. Real Japanese experience as you aleep on tatamis, and to shower there is a great onsen (naked, separate for women and men) with a bathtube outside)open from early morning until 11:00 pm. “Amazing!”
Our stay at Oyado Hachibee in Takayama was one of the highlights of our two-week trip around Japan. The place is really special; beautiful location just outside the town, great onsen and facilities, close to Hida village, lovely staff, and incredible breakfasts and dinners. Don’t miss this place.

I liked this ryokan! It is clean, the staff is friendly and it is quiet. Good ambiance. The price for this ryokan is good. There is a nice, small, bath, inside and outside.
