Somewhat dated but quirky interior added to the charm of the place, it had a real sense of history. We had the room with private bathroom with beds on the tatami mat floor which were fine. “Nice traditional charm and facilities”
The Ryokan was a five minute walk from the train station so very well situated. We arrived at midday and were welcomed to leave our bag there so we could explore Takayama. “Nice experience.”
We stayed one night in this Ryokan (room with private bath). it was very close to train and bus station. 10 minutes walk to old town. Room was clean and staff was really nice. breakfast was really good. I really recommend to visit Hida Folk Village.
