“Out of the way ryokan in a great little town.”
Quiet, serene and the people there are so nice. They were doing some renovation at the property but was really unnoticeable. The property itself was very nice. “Authentic Japanese Hospitality”
It was my most exquisite stay in Japan! Everything was perfect. If you want to experience authentic Japanese hospitality and historic Ryokan, this is the place to do it. The town of Hida is fantastic too.

“Amazing Traditional Japanese Experience”
This was the best experience I had in Japan. The service, food, and accommodations are 5-star and I would recommend this to anyone. The town is very quiet and beautiful, but my family opted to stay in the ryokan for most of our visit because we were so comfortable.
