“The best place to relax quietly in winter ...”

“Beautiful place”
Stayed here during February for 3 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Place is out of town and very quiet. The cottage was very big for just two of us. There were 5 beds. Full equipped kitchen. A public onsen bath 5 mins away. Very beautiful and romantic place. Will definitely come back … more

“Beautiful area in the middle of winter”
Very quiet and felt out of the world. Complete drastic change from my previous stay at hoshino tomamu which was full of ppl. Lake kanayama was frozen and white with snow. The drive in along kanayama lake is pretty quiet. Must bring along food for dinner n breakfast. Kids had so much fun playing… more

The whole log cabin was kept very clean (and seemed new). The 3 heaters provided were adequate to keep us warm during winter. It was a spacious accommodation for us (family of 4).
