“Nice stay overall”

We drove all the way from Tateyama to Kanazawa to Hakusan. We were warmly welcomed by the staff at the reception. We drove all the way from Tateyama to Kanazawa to Hakusan. We were warmly welcomed by the staff at the reception. Though they do not speak English well, they tried their every bit of effort to make our stay comfortable. There were welcome drinks. We were allowed to pick our drinks from the fridge eg water, Japanese tea and beer! Our rooms were spacious than normal Japanese hotels. Wifi worked well. Bathroom was big. Onsen is located in the new building. The pool was hot enough as well. Breakfast was quite good. The only downside of this hotel was the air conditioning was not cool enough. But the hotel staff did attend to our request to make the room cooler. We appreciated their attentiveness and responsiveness.

“Nice stopover”

Stayed on the top floor. Room is OK size, clean. The hotel is 30 min from the main attractions in Kanazawa. Choose the hotel due to it reasonable price. A very nice stay. I believe the hotel is very popular locally as there were a lot of parties in the restaurant.

I stayed in this hotel for 10 nights. GOOD THINGS The bed was firm but ok for getting good rest. The room heating system was nice and warm. I really appreciated that coming from Malaysia. They also have feather pillows. Wifi connection was good. Room was spacious enough to put my suitcase on the floor. There is a fridge. The staff are friendly and attentive. Some speak English. The western restaurant serves pretty good western food. The Japanese food at the hotel is good. BAD THINGS I have NO IDEA why this hotel has chosen to put two really gigantic vending machines on the 4th floor outside guest rooms on the same floor they have the connecting onsen bath bridge! So every single night from 7 PM onwards until after 1 am I would hear very loudly beer cans being dropped in the vending machines as guests came back from onsen. EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT. I had to move rooms. Also, the housekeeping phone is right next to the vending machines so any time a guest on that floor calls for housekeeping that phone would ring very very loudly so the housekeeping people can hear it all throughout the floor. It is very strange to have such noise in a hotel. The breakfast is rather plain. Miso soup, toast and cereal and a few other things that were not very appetizing. There is only one convenience store here but its a few blocks away and you have to walk through very dark alleys to get there. Its not an ideal place if you dont have a car or tour bus to take you places.
