“Excellent, friendly, central, quirky, comfortable, music”
I'd read some not so good reviews of this place, but it was absolutely perfect for me. It is very central & only about 5 minutes walk from the main train station. “Great location!”
The hotel is very close to Kanazawa station, about 5 mins walk! Great value of price. The owner is very nice, and played beautiful music on a Japanese traditional instrument, she doesn’t speak much English we understood her perfectly (:

Less than 10mins walk from Kanazawa JR station, on the main road. Old hotel managed by an elderly pleasant lady who speaks limited English. No early check-in. This is a very basic hotel and given its price that is not surprising at all. The hotel is run by an old lady. We had communication problem with her but she was trying her best to help. We stayed at 4 bedded room. The room was cramped with 4 beds, only small space available for us to walk around. This didnt bother us much because we stayed only for 1 nite and we leave early… more
