“Best service I have ever seen”
They drove us (for free) in a SNOWSTORM to the train station when the taxis stopped running. It was the best service I have ever seen anywhere, and I have lived in Japan. Very nice onsen inside and spacious rooms as well.

Location is very good, on walking distance to central shopping area. Large western-style rooms, with firm beds. Very helpful and friendly staff. Ofuro on eighth floor. Good value for money. This hotel was average in all areas, it gets the job done. I picked this hotel because of the free parking, but then realised parking around kagoshima are quite cheap and plentiful , so if I have known this I would have stayed somewhere newer. The reception staff spoke reasonable English and much better than my Japanese.we had booked a Japanese room which was exactly what we got. We had booked meals at the hotel. We can not really comment on the meals because at times we had absolutely no idea either what we were eating or how to eat it.… more
