Excellent location if you are planning to attend a cocnert at K Arena. You can simply walk a few steps and reach your room after a tiring evening. Super convenient. Food at the restaurant is good quality. Location accessible by taxi. Check in and out was smooth.

We recently spent a total of eight nights at the Hilton Yokohama, using it as a base while traveling within Japan and back to the United States via Haneda airport. Our first stay was for one night, and upon walking into the beautiful and spacious executive lounge (with outdoor space) I quickly canceled all my other local reservations in favor of the Hilton Yokohama. The hotel is still in like new condition — it opened for business in September 2023 — and the rooms and facilities are beautiful. As a Hilton Diamond member I was escorted to the lounge for check-in, and greeted warmly by staff, including Natsuki Iwai, whose assistance would prove invaluable during our stays, including corresponding with Haneda Airport to track down a lost bag. We had three separate stays at the hotel, and each time we returned it felt like coming home. Our room was just right (Natsuki had made a note of our room preferences), and traveling was made easier as we were able to leave a bag at the hotel to collect on our last day. I looked forward each day to breakfast at the lounge (and Parade restaurant), which included Japanese and Western breakfast, with healthy cooked dishes and natto available. On one of our last days at the hotel, I overheard a guest from the U.S. expressing his gratitude to staff in the executive lounge. I met him later outside the hotel and we spoke for many minutes, reveling in our awe and appreciation of the hotel and its staff. He said he loved the two Natsuki’s in the lounge (Natsuki Hirano had also been very helpful during my stay), and was so impressed that he said he would ask his adult children if they would name their next daughter Natsuki because the two Natsukis were “so sweet.” Like me, this guest had quickly canceled his reservations at other hotels — in Yokohama and Tokyo — after discovering this Hilton. When I return to Japan, the Hilton Yokohama will again be my base. I will look for the rising stars Natsuki Iwai and Natsuki Hirano, as well as Alice Kobashikawa, who greeted us so warmly when we first arrived and throughout our stay. Every person at the hotel deserves praise, and this hotel should be on everyone’s list. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Accommodation & Location The Hilton Yokohama delivers solid value without premium pricing. The location, while not central, offers a distinct advantage: genuine quiet and residential character—a welcome respite from Yokohama’s busier districts. Rooms are generously proportioned; my Executive Twin room provided ample space and, importantly, featured a shower rather than a bathtub (I’d confirmed this requirement in advance to ensure accessibility). Pre-Arrival Service The hotel deserves credit for responsiveness. All pre-arrival inquiries were answered promptly and courteously, which significantly eased planning. Room Amenities: A Disconnect Here lies the disappointment. For a hotel that opened only three years ago, claiming international standards, the entertainment system falls short of modern expectations. The 55-inch television lacks basic connectivity: Netflix and YouTube are unavailable. More surprisingly, there are no international news or entertainment channels—only Japanese programming. This is a genuine oversight in a hotel positioned for international guests, particularly given that such services have been standard globally for years. Dining: Ocean Milano Restaurant The dining experience redeemed expectations entirely. The chef (who also served) demonstrated genuine skill. The Caesar Salad was among the finest I’ve experienced—impeccably balanced and expertly executed. The Bluefish Sandwich was equally impressive, with no compromises in quality. Verdict A well-executed hotel that meets expectations for its category and price point, with excellent F&B. However, management should urgently address television/streaming functionality—it’s an easily correctable oversight that currently undermines the international positioning. Would I return? Yes, particularly to dine at Ocean Milano.

Highlights - wonderful check in progress in Executive Lounge as Diamond member with personal service (lovely staff Watanabe and Fukushima) - spacious and modern guest room with great view of harbour and surrounding skyscrapers - great tea selection in Executive Lounge - accurate and perfect service as expected in a luxury Japanese hotel Improvement potential - the happy hour food option in the lounge was disappointing: only one soup plus fried fish and corn. As such an expensive hotel I expected much more - the breakfast in the main restaurant closes at 10 am, but at 9:30 am the service team started to clean up all food and drinks from the buffet, so basically if someone shows up at 9:30, there will be less or no food left worst case
