Maybe it was because I stayed on a Sunday night, but it was really cheap. It was cheaper than a capsule hotel. It's convenient to get to Haneda by transferring at Yokohama. Because of the location, there were a lot of Chinese staff. Of course, they spoke Japanese well. The room was standard and was enough for one or two people. The only thing that bothered me was the height of the bathroom floor. The height of the hallway from the floor to the room was higher than in other hotels, and I often got stuck when going in and out of the bathroom. If you're worried about your feet, be careful.

Hotel Livemax is a large budget hotel chain in Japan. This Yokohama branch is close to its popular Chinatown and pleasant Yamashita Park. While it is a good starting place to explore the port city, getting to Tokyo can be time-consuming. Check-in is smooth and staff speaks Mandarin. Service is patient and courteous. Room is small but neat and clean. Bathroom is tiny but all amenities are readily available. Bed is fine for one person. The area is quiet enough guarantee a good sleep. No view from the window. though. Beware that there is no housekeeping service and one has to get new towels from the front desk. Price is dirt cheap. For those who do not stay in the hotel, this is a viable option.

If you are travel alone and looking for a very short stay and would like to spend time in Chinatown area. This hotel is exactly located in Chinatown. The room is small and the bed is not comfy enough.
