This is a typical Japanese hotel, in that the rooms are pretty small by western standards, the beds and pillows are a bit firm (dense memory foam) but once you get used to the layout and amenities, you come to realize that everything you need for a nice stay is here and more. The facility and rooms standing on it's own merits might usually rate just a 3.5 from me, but the hotel and rooms are kept very clean, the staff is exceptionally polite go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. I arrived at the hotel about 4 hours before the 3pm check-in time. As is customary in Japanese hotels, they will readily take your excess luggage into holding so you are free to roam until your room is ready. In my case, the hotel desk manager asked his staff to get a room ready for us while we were making our plans in the lobby for killing 3 hours until 3pm. Suddenly, he call me over and told me that our room was ready (before 12 noon) so that we could get settled! This was certainly unexpected and a nice gesture. The rooms are all air conditioned, have a separate humidifier and provide everything from tooth brushes, pajamas, slippers, etc. The washing machine facilities are free (except detergent). The attached restaurant is a Italian theme place. The optional breakfast is served by this restaurant. It's convenient, but lacking in variety and nothing to write home about and a it expensive. If you just want to save an extra trip in the morning, it's OK.

“Nice hotel”

we are a family of 4, the room is big and we dont have any problem putting our luggage. The room are clean. Hotel location near station. Cafe n restaurants only 3-5 mins walk. Nice river view too. Overall , we have a wonder stay at this hotel

“Good hotel near station”

Mystays Yokohama is near Koganecho station. The hotel provide washing and dying machine but you need insert coin. The hotel is so nice and clean. They also provide 3 beds in a room makes family with 1 children can stay comfort

“Room was okay, but a little dirty”

Small room with nice tv, kettle. The cleaning in the bathroom seems to miss some spots, which makes the place feel a little dirty. Overall a pleasant place to stay for an evening with an interesting local area.
