I’m just finishing a two night stay at the KKR Hotel Kumamoto. The KKR means the hotel is mainly intended for national civil servants, but in reality anyone can stay there and the prices are reasonable. “Very Good on location, room quality, service and value for money”
If only the castle is opened, if only the castle is not under renovation, if only...... The hotel has an excellent view of the castle as it is just located opposite of the castle. It is just unfortunate that the castle is closed, otherwise the staff is very pleasant and attentive.

The best location in Kumamoto, offering incredible view over the castle, and less than 10 minutes walk from city center and commercial streets. Room is comfortable with good equipment, proper bedding and individual bathroom. Wecoming and friendly staff.
