Very good hotel. Good location. Nearby is Omiya Station, which runs a direct train to Bamboo Grove. “cozy place for sightseeing in Kyoto”
We stayed two nights here, room was bit tiny but cozy. The best thing was he facilities were quite new and clean. Although it bit locates far from city centre but still acceptable with using bus. There are supermarket, drug store and mcdonalds around there.Fresh water service available at 1st floor.

“To be close to the heart of Kyoto”
We were really impressed with the service and helpfulness of the staff. We arrived early dropped baggage and could cover shopping centers near Takashimaya, went to Nishiki market, then off to Gion and rounded up with Kiyomizudera. This is a budget hotel at best. Beds and pillows are very uncomfortable. They skimp on the little things: there is no conditioner, only one pillow per bed, ect.
