We were extremely happy with our hotel selection. I always enjoy Hyatt Regency hotels but this particular one was much better than I was anticipating. “Beautiful hotel in Kyoto”
This is a beautiful hotel. The staff is perhaps the kindest and most attentive we have ever experienced. The room is lovely. The area is nice with a museum across the street and a large, beautiful temple right next door. The buffet breakfast is stunning with a wide variety of options.

“Meh.”
Don't go here expecting the typical Hyatt Regency hospitality and experience. Also, the hotel is older and due for a refresh. If you want a higher end or comfortable experience, this is not the hotel.
