Excellent hotel in great location. Close to Gion and train stations. The rooms are excellent size and comfortable beds. Rooms in Japan are generally small but this was perfect for a 5 night stay. “Great hotel”
Lovely hotel nice big room great location excellent gym staff on reception were very helpful would definitely stay here again the gym was free and was better than most hotels that I have stayed in The check in was quick and easy we all loved our stay here

“Comfortable hotel, good value.”
Lovely new fresh rooms on the smaller size. Beds were big but the pillows could be better. When asked if we could have another, none were available. “Nice and clean stay at Kyoto”
The overall is good, just the location is quite a distance to the metro station. The reception only have staff on duty between 1pm - 10pm, if really need assistance from staff can walk down a bit to their another hotel. You may get the amenities outside the room on every floor.
