“Best ryokan experience”
Yoshida Sanso was our best stay during our vacation Japan by far. The property is a boutique ryokan with only few rooms, thus the rates. The rates are totally worth the experience. “A delightful spot”
Traditional ryokan in a house built by a member of the royal family in the 1930s, original timbers. Very peaceful and immersive. Optional dinner was really excellent, served in a private room, as were the Japanese breakfasts. Lovely stay.

Staying at Yoshida-sanso feels like traveling back in time and being a part of history. The owners is doing an amazing job preserving the ryokan. “Great to place to relax!”
We were there for 3 nights and it was great. I'm still amazed by how nice the staff was. If you are looking for a place to relax in Kyoto this is a good choice!
