I stayed here for a few nights when I went to Sendai. It was one of the few hotels that had available rooms coz most were booked due to the Pokemon Go event that occurred at the end of May/early June. I didn't have much expectation coz this was my first time coming to Japan. Room is a bit small, but it has some ample space for luggage, but if you need to open it up, it might take up some floor space. Bed is ok, a bit low for my liking. The toilet is small though, there's very little wiggle room between the toilet bowl and the bath tub. The staff are nice, they can speak some english so it's not hard to communicate. The elderly kitchen staff made the mini buffet breakfast, which I enjoyed so much, maybe it's because it's a different type of buffet spread. It's very homely. The hotel is a bit of a walk from the Sendai station though (maybe 10 minutes). If you have a luggage, make sure to go down one floor (same floor as the bus) because the outside of the station have mostly stairs. Exit near the Starbucks (south west side of the station, I believe it's exit H), and walk along the S-PAL mall towards the Atagokamisugidori Avenue, turn left and walk towards the nearest stoplight. Cross the road towards the Hotel Monterey, a bit more and you'll see a 7-11 at the corner. Turn left on the 7-11 and walk a bit more. The hotel is near the end on the right side.

“Tiny room but good location”

Hotel room is very small. It has a small kettle, small Tv and bathroom. You can take the razor, body sponge and comb from the lift lobby. Hotel has a coffee corner with free coffee 24/7. Hotel room is very small. It has a small kettle, small Tv and bathroom. You can take the razor, body sponge and comb from the lift lobby. Hotel has a coffee corner with free coffee 24/7. There is free laundry and dryer, just purchase the detergent at 50 yen from counter. Surrounding has few convenient stores. Many department stalls around Sendai Station. To get to hotel : Leave from 1F level, same as JR exit on West exit 2, towards S-PAL or the bus terminal, which is next to Hotel Metropolitan Hotel. Don’t use the pedestrian bridge if you are carrying heavy luggage as you will need to use the stairs to get down. Walk close outside hotel metropolitan hotel, when you see Newdays, turn right at the traffic lights. Walk about 30 m, you will see 7-11 and turn left. Hotel is behind Unizo Inn. It takes about 5 - 10 mins by foot after exit station.

“Good location and breakfast”

Nice and a little bit bigger room than in many Japanese business hotels, unfortunately the bathroom is only a plastic "unittobasu". Full Japanse breakfast with some western stuff, too. Near enough to the station and easy to find.

The hotel was about 8 minutes walk from sendai station. However, it was difficult to find the hotel at first. The staff were friendly but did not speak much English. The room was comfortable and clean. There was a small kettle in the room. The airconditiion in the room was perfect.The toilet was traditional japanese style but it had a washlet. Breakfast did not have much varities. There was a microwave in the lobby and also a coffee machine which was very convenient. Umbrellas were available in the lobby for free in case of rain.
