“Cozy place to stay”
The owners of this lovely inn were so gracious and kind. We were picked up at the Happo bus terminal and then driven back on our last day. We used the Yamoto (Black Cat) service to have our luggage shipped to the inn and the owner arranged the pick up by Yamoto on our last day. So easy and conve… more

“Heaven on Earth”
I cannot fault this place. We have never stayed in a more beautiful, comfortable and cozy place. The owners went above and beyond. I can say that we fell inlove with Skala Inn. P.S: Freshly baked breads every single morning for breakfast. We were spoilt rotten. We will be back !!

This place is an excellent place to stay in Hakuba. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. “Fanastic Inn run by wonderful hosts”
Stayed at Skala for 5 nights over the Christmas period and I highly recommend. The wonderful hosts cannot do enough to help you with your trip. If you are skiing it is located 20metres from the bus stop which has buses to every resort, which are 10mins away. Echoland is a short 15min walk walk … more

“Great stay, amazing atmosphere.”
A great location, our skiing trip with friends and family was complimented by a large lounge room. <10 minute walk from echolands main street. The owners are lovely and always willing to help. p.s. nothing feels better after a long day in the snow then an onsen bath.
