“A quality traditional hotel on the Nakasendo”
Traditional rooms and food in a very good setting. The food is excellent and service generally is very good. A pleasant onsen and comfortable lounge.

“Great traditional ryokan”
Incredible, cool, historical. I stayed with a hiking group and the dinner was soooo good. It was a fancy meal of fugu, sashimi, hot pot and more. “Glorious mix of Western and Japanese styles”
This ryokan was the last stop on our Nakasendo trail walk, and it was a perfect ending to a wonderful trip. We loved the history of the hotel, and the eclectic lobby.
