This first time to stay here. I think hotel is so good. And very nice place. Good service and many amusement for kid, karaoke service free 1 hour , manga book zone , good buffet breakfast and dinner. Room can see bech. Good hot spring .Thank you.

As the title suggests this was a mixed experience. Overall, given price, it was ok. but well below our other experiences in japan. Staff speak no English, but in the end that was no real problem. brief English info sheet available at reception. Buffet food all labelled in English too. Most things worked out well with sign language :-) FOOD: good: broad food choice for Japanese style food. quality good. buffet meals (we had brkfst and dinner included). each table had a grill, with plenty of food to choose for this. very limited western choice at breakfast. food: bad side: the hotel is evidently big. two 'sittings' for dinner. My main issue was that the place did not feel like an evening out for a meal. It feels more like a (well supplied) very busy company restaurant, than a resort hotel. Noisy and rather crowded. but as said, the quality was ok. ROOM: we had an upgraded Japanese / western room. GOOD: the room consisted of two rooms: western style bedroom with small table and 2 chairs plus a tatami room (8 tatamis), so space was big. In practice we used only the bed/sitting room, as it was cold and we did not feel we needed the tatami room (heating was ok!). We had a large balcony with amazing SEAVIEW. Make sure you book a room with view, as the ones we saw that hadn't did not look out on something nice. good beds. good luggage space. ROOM BAD: we were on the floor above the restaurant (204). At mealtimes (530-9pm) there was a strong food smell in our room, mainly due to the grilling that took place. Better get a room higher up in the hotel as those corridors do not link to the restaurant. There is no shower or bath in the room, just two sinks and a toilet. This was mentioned in the room details. There is a lovely communal bath/onsen, but this meant we had to walk 150 meters to get a wash in the morning. No problem if you use the onsen of course, but not convenient. I understand some rooms do have a bath now. Strangely the water in the two washbasins in the room was cold. I found a switch under the sink that switched on the water heater, but now there was no cold water in the room (the tap is a single mixer outlet without adjustment). Hence we needed to get drinking water elsewhere. The water was getting too hot for washing. sink could not be closed to fill it.
