“one day stay”
a nice quiet hotel in the unzen mountain.has its own hot spring..separate for ladies and men..they have 2/3 western style rooms.facing the road..all japanese rooms face the lake..very tranquil and peaceful location..staff are excellant..limited english but they go out of there way to make your stay… more

“Make sure you tell them any room except 215 and 216”
Hotel a bit tired but all the tatami rooms faces the lake. Rooms 215 and 216 are the exceptions. These are the only 2 western rooms. Small and cramp and are stuck right behind. “Not bad. But could be better”
It's clear that this property had it's Golden Years and several awards during the 90s and the latest in the mid 2000s. Now the hotel feels aged and lacks charm. We stayed two nights in the western style room. It did not have the lake view as promised, instead we could see the parking lot from our room. The room itself was clean and tidy.
